Getting Ready for Spring

I’m very tired of Winter, so I’m getting ready for Spring!  Meteorological Spring begins March 1, and Spring officially starts on March 20, 2022!   A lot of things can be done before your garden begins  its Spring growth.  Getting ready for Spring with a Springtime refresh in the garden includes cleaning up and pruning; also picking replacements for those plants that didn’t survive the winter.  A pot of bright flowers will bring the look of Spring inside for right now.

While you’re refreshing things outdoors, think about a Spring fashion refresh too.  It’s not too early to do a little clearing out in your closet.  Refresh those winter clothes with a new scarf and maybe some earrings or a pendant.  A simple pearl bracelet or a necklace will give an outfit an entirely new look.  Spring/Summer 2022 fashion colors are bright colors – citrus tones – lime green, wonderful yellows, hot orange, plus a poppy red, chartreuse and some lovely blue and purple shades.
