Coro flower cluster earrings. Each earring is a cluster of flowers set with topaz rhinestones. The vintage gold tone clip on style earrings date from the 1960s-1970s. They are marked Coro on the back of the clips. Each earring measures 1 inch across. All the rhinestones are prong set.
The Coro company was begun in 1901 by Emanuel Cohn and Carl Rosenberger who opened a small accessories store on Broadway in New York City. Coro collectors like the classic designs. Coro workmanship and finish were outstanding even on its less expensive lines. Also, Coro jewelry was known for its delicate yet sturdy construction and for their distinctive floral designs and figurals.
