Faceted prasiolite silver ring. Prasiolite is a naturally occurring green quartz. This sterling silver ring is set with a beautiful faceted oval prasiolite stone that’s about 11 carats. The arrangement of the facets in this stone is designed to maximize light and color. The ring is about size 6. This stone has not been heat treated to create or enhance the color.
On the California-Nevada border, just north of Reno, amethyst, citrine, and green quartz occur together in clusters of crystals. Green quartz or prasiolite gemstones are found in varying shades of green and greenish yellow. Store in a cool place in a jewelry bag or box. If you have questions please contact me.
