Juliana Rhinestone and Crystal Bracelet

Description

This is a Juliana rhinestone and crystal bracelet.  The bracelet is 7.5 inches long and has both Juliana style black diamond AB round rhinestones and marquis rhinestones, plus faceted clear crystal. The bracelet has a safety chain.  All of the rhinestones are prong set. This late 1950s-1960s rhinestone bracelet really sparkles! Matching earrings are available separately.

Juliana jewelry was made by the DeLizza & Elster company and is prized by vintage jewelry collectors.  The DeLizza and Elster company was founded in 1947 and manufactured all sorts of elements and jewelry for well established costume jewelry companies.  The tagged Juliana pieces were only produced for a couple of years in the late 1960s.  Unless the paper hang tag is retained, most of these pieces are totally unmarked.

Identifying Juliana D&E jewelry:  The 5 link construction of the bracelet is a known Juliana design. No other company made this type of rectangular round style link.  When viewed from the underside, the link construction of 5 distinctive oval metal links is a way of identifying the jewelry as D&E.  Earrings are generally clip style. Bracelets have a fold-over clasp (some clasps have ridges and some have arrows) and their bracelets all have safety chains.
