Description
A vintage mustard seed pendant necklace. The mustard seed pendant is 0.75 inch across on a 16.5 inch gold tone chain. The mustard seed pendant has a gold tone band and bail. This pendant is from the 1950s. I believe the globe is glass, but I am not sure.
Mustard seed jewelry was first popular in the Victorian era. The seed was displayed in a glass or a lucite amulet. Mustard seed jewelry became popular again in the 1940’s and its popularity lasted throughout the 50’s and 60’s.
