Description
This is a Paua shell necklace and earrings. The beautiful silver necklace has an oval paua shell set between sterling silver leaves. This is a jewelry set from my own collection. It was made by Cherokee Indians in the Tahlequah, Oklahoma area and dates from the 1970s. The necklace is about 20 inches long and closes with a spring catch. It’s marked Sterling on the back. The necklace and earrings have beautiful iridescent blue and green Paua shell cabochons. The dangle earrings are 2.5 inches long. Each earring is marked Sterling and Cherokee on the back.
