Projects for the Coming Months

I’m getting my workshop set up with my torch and polishing equipment and I will be making head pins and soldering jump rings soon, I hope. There are a million things that I’m just dying to do; however, I am making some progress.

One of my goals for the year is to perfect my soldering techniques and create some fiber and metal pieces with bezel-set stones. I like larger stones, but another goal for this year is to do smaller pieces – pendants and rings with faceted gems. I have a long list of projects to work on.

It’s hard to stay focused. I have a show coming up the end of the month, but right now I’m working on Valentine’s items. I really like my cluster earring designs in gemstones and Swarovski crystals and want to do more of them – I haven’t even gotten to those yet.
