Rainforest Jasper

I love the name of this stone – rainforest jasper – and the visual image it creates in my mind. This lovely necklace combines jasper nuggets in various shades of green that blend with browns and reds. They really remind me of the tropical rainforest with towering trees and lots of ferns. The Rainforest Jasper nuggets are accented with vermeil bead caps and spacers (vermeil is 24kt gold over sterling silver). The overall length is 18 inches. The pendant is a rainforest jasper cabochon (18×25) wrapped in 14/20 gold-filled wire. The overall length is 2-1/2″ x 1″ wide. The pendant is set off with a corrugated vermeil bead on either side of the bale with a smaller gold bead in the center of the bale. Matching earrings are included (about 2 inches long).
