Word wrap around pictures is theoretically automatic in WordPress, but so far I haven’t found it to be that way. Perhaps I need to have a considerably longer post than those I’ve written so far.
This necklace is a “Zia” design pendant in silver and turquoise. The Zia is the state symbol of New Mexico. I love this particular piece of turquoise – the stone’s pattern reminds me of flowers in bloom. I had a lot of fun creating this piece which is loosely based on a magazine article from a few years ago. The “nest” area around the stone is done in fine silver. The rest of the setting is sterling silver.
I usually wear the pendant on a textured omega that’s more in keeping with the design of the pendant than a chain would be.
